Start Your Own Club
Do you play regularly with a group of friends or colleagues? Travel around to various courses with a golf league? If this sounds like you, and you're seeking a way to elevate golf experience for you and your friends - look no further. NJ Golf offers the opportunity for groups to start their own club. Here are the benefits to establishing a club:
- Official Handicap Computation through the USGA's GHIN (Golf Handicap Information Network) platform. Golfers can post scores, track their handicap index, keep individual stats, and access 3D course maps and GPS. The GHIN system is the worldwide standard for handicap computation under the World Handicap System.
- Access to Tournament Software through Golf Genius where clubs can run tournaments - complete with digital scoring, leaderboards, point systems, and much more.
- Golf Genius syncs with GHIN so your events always have up-to-date handicap information.
- All of your league or club members also become members of NJ Golf. This entails access to NJ Golf benefits and opportunities, including Member Golf Days, Championships, receipt of NJ Golf Magazine, and that's just the beginning.
What is needed to start your own club?
- A minimum of ten (10) golfers.
- A designated point of contact who must complete a simple certification process.
