
Apply for a 2026-27 Scholarship
GENERAL INFORMATION
The New Jersey Golf Caddie Scholarship is available to qualified applicants who have caddied at a participating NJ Golf club for at least two seasons. Full-time attendance as an undergraduate at an institution of higher education accredited by the U.S. Department of Education is required.
- The Caddie Scholarship Foundation is accepting applications for the 2026-2027 academic year until October 15, 2025. To submit an application:
- Create a profile and submit your completed application at https://webportalapp.com/sp/login/njg_caddie_scholarship_application_26. You will need your manager’s email in order to submit a request to attest to your eligibility and provide a recommendation.
- Upload pages 1 and 2 only of your parents’ (or guardians’) 2024 Federal Income Tax Return.
- If you are a high school senior, upload your current transcript indicating your cumulative Grade Point Average and your SAT or ACT score report, if taken.
- If you are currently enrolled in college, upload your current college transcript indicating your cumulative Grade Point Average.
IMPORTANT: If you are applying for an NJ Golf-Evans Scholarship, you must also apply for an NJ Golf Caddie Scholarship Foundation scholarship.
SELECTION CRITERIA
The NJ Golf Caddie Scholarship Committee reviews applications based upon the following criteria:
- Academic record
- Financial need
- Qualities of character and leadership
- Club's financial support of the Foundation

- July 15, 2025 - Application period opens for 2026-27 academic year
- Mid-August 2025 - First installment of scholarship sent to college and universities for the 2025-26 academic year
- October 15, 2025 – Application due date for 2026-27 academic year
- Mid-December 2025 - Second installment of scholarship sent to colleges and universities for the 2025-26 academic year
- March 2026 - Applications under Committee Review
- April 2026 - Award letters sent electronically
- May 31, 2026 - Scholarship Acceptance Agreement completed and submitted via portal
- June 15, 2026 - Thank you note and head shot uploaded to portal
- June 24, 2026 - Scholars' Banquet at Galloping Hill Golf Course
- July 14, 2026 – Leadership Summit at Galloping Hill Golf Course

NJ Golf Evans Scholars Foundation Application Information
Since 2021 the NJ Golf Caddie Scholarship Foundation has partnered with the Western Golf Association’s Evans Scholars Foundation to provide full tuition and housing scholarships to caddies from New Jersey who meet the requirements set by the Evans Scholars Foundation. Additionally, the Caddie NJ Golf/Evans Scholars currently attend such prestigious universities as: Miami University of Ohio, Michigan State University, Rutgers University, University of Delaware, University of Indiana, University of Maryland, University of Notre Dame, and University of South Carolina. As of the 2022-2023 academic year, NJ Golf/Evans Scholars will attend Rutgers University.
