Wednesday Roundup - February Edition

New Jersey Golf’s “Wednesday Roundup” typically runs weekly through the golf season. With so much news and buzz in the Garden State, NJ Golf has released its February edition of the Wednesday Roundup. 

  • College commitments are rolling in for boys and girls in New Jersey. On the boys side, Michael Asselta (Loyola University MD), Peter Merk (Drew University). On the girls side, Vidhi Lakhawala (Wake Forest University), Ysabel Liu (Princeton University), Olivia Gaglione (University of Richmond). 

  • The DROP Podcast came out with their 2026 NJ Golf Major Championship Preview show. (Listen Here

  • The GOLFZON Leadbetter Junior Tour is a 10-event junior golf series designed to give young players meaningful competition without the travel burden of traditional tours. Juniors compete in individual stroke-play events at participating GOLFZON commercial facilities across Spring and Fall 2026, with top performers earning State and Tour Championship titles.   • The Heroes Tour provides competitive golf opportunities for active military personnel, veterans and first responders (firefighters, law enforcement, paramedics & EMTs). Tournaments feature a gross and net division and all skill levels are welcome. (Click for more)
