Terms & Conditions - NJ Golf Membership Auto-Renew

Your AGA and club membership term may be renewed for an additional twelve (12) month period (“Renewal Term”) by paying the then-current membership fees prior to the expiration of your current membership term. By agreeing to renew your membership, you authorize NJ Golf to charge the then-current membership fees (inclusive of taxes, service fees and processing fees) to the credit card on file associated with your account.  NJ Golf reserves the right to change the annual membership fee rates for any Renewal Term.  Any changes to membership fees will be communicated in advance in an annual email notification.

You may have the option to enroll in auto-renew in order to renew your NJ Golf membership.  If you enroll in auto-renew, then unless you cancel your membership or your participation in auto-renew before the cancellation deadline, the credit card on file with your account will automatically be processed on or near your anniversary billing date each year and you will be charged the then-current membership fees (inclusive of taxes, service fees and processing fees) for the following 12-month Renewal Term.  Members will receive an annual reminder email in advance of when the membership fees payment will be processed, informing them of the amount of the membership fees for the upcoming Renewal Term.  Members may cancel their participation in auto-renew and avoid incurring the annual charges by opting out online through the GHIN app or GHIN website, or contacting NJ Golf by sending notice of cancellation via email to Rich Kennedy at richk@njgolf.org or calling the NJ Golf office at (908) 241-GOLF. However, to avoid incurring the fee for the following renewal period, cancellation must take place before the cancellation deadline; that is, no later than five (5) business days before the scheduled membership fees processing date as disclosed in the renewal notice.   Following cancellation, members will continue to have access to their membership benefits through the end of the current membership term if that year has been paid in full.   If at any time during the membership term the member’s eligibility changes, auto-renew will be de-activated and re-enrollment will be required.  Auto-renew will begin upon the start of the first Renewal Term and processed annually on or about the anniversary of your AGA and club membership activation date.

Members will receive an annual email receipt after payment is processed for any Renewal Term.  It is your responsibility to ensure that your credit card on file and all information is up to date.  If NJ Golf is unable to process payment through your credit card on file, your membership may be suspended or cancelled, and you may be refused member benefits until payment is complete. Failure to renew your membership prior to expiration of the current membership term may result in cancellation of your membership, which may include inactivation of your scoring record, Handicap Index and associated data.
