Teamed up for the third consecutive season, Austin Devereux, 26, will once again join forces with Mike Puorro, 40. The pair are aiming to return to match play for the first time since their 2023 appearance at Hamilton Farm. Devereux, a standout competitor, claimed his second New Jersey major title in 2024 by winning the 41st Mid-Amateur Championship at Union League National. Puorro, meanwhile, is the co-host of The DROP, a podcast focused on golf throughout the Garden State.

Michael O’Connell, 48, and Tom Collins, 44, as well as Max Bichsel, 34, and Tom Urciuli, 28, are one of two teams exempt into the Four-Ball by way of qualifying for the U.S. Amateur Four-Ball, which will be contested May 17-21 in New Jersey.

One of three sibling pairings in the field, brothers Jeremy Wall, 29, and Ethan Wall, 30, are aiming to secure a spot in match play for the second time in as many years. Jeremy is coming off a strong 2024 campaign, highlighted by a T-3 finish at the 123rd New Jersey Amateur Championship at Forest Hill Field Club and a quarterfinal run in the Mid-Amateur Championship.

Brian Hart, 41, and Anthony Campanile, 38, a steady duo in the Four-Ball, will once again team up as they aim to reach match play for the fourth consecutive season. Campanile reached the quarterfinals of last year’s Mid-Amateur Championship.
