Throughout the day, industry leaders and professionals shared advice on topics from personal finance and career readiness to building a professional online presence and entrepreneurship.

Michael Petrucci, First Vice President and Market Sales Manager at Provident Bank, the event’s presenting sponsor, opened the morning with a presentation focused on financial literacy, offering guidance on budgeting, managing credit, planning for major life milestones, and preparing for long-term financial success as the soon-to-be college graduates transition into the workplace.

John Corcoran, Managing Director of Corcoran Career Coaching, followed with a discussion on the importance of cultivating a positive digital footprint. He emphasized how social media can influence internship and job opportunities while providing practical tips on creating a professional online presence.

The day’s featured presentation was a fireside chat with Mike Doyle, co-founder of Five Iron Golf, who shared his journey from golf instructor to entrepreneur. Doyle reflected on Five Iron Golf’s beginnings inside a closet of a New York City men’s clothing store and its growth into a global golf entertainment brand, offering Scholars a firsthand look at the innovation, perseverance, and leadership required to build a successful business.

Following lunch, the Scholars enjoyed an afternoon of networking and camaraderie on the fairways and greens at Galloping Hill.

The Caddie Scholarship Foundation extends its sincere appreciation and gratitude to Provident Bank, Michael Petrucci, John Corcoran, and Mike Doyle for sharing their knowledge and experience with the Caddie Scholars.
