Gotterup Named to U.S. Presidents Cup Team
New Jersey native Chris Gotterup is headed to Medinah.
Gotterup was named one of U.S. Team Captain Brandt Snedeker’s six captain’s picks for the 2026 Presidents Cup, which will be contested September 22-27 at Medinah Country Club in Illinois.
The 27-year-old will make his Presidents Cup debut following a standout PGA TOUR season that included three victories. Gotterup joins Jacob Bridgeman and Jackson Koivun as first-time Presidents Cup competitors among Snedeker’s six selections. (Learn More)

Jonathan Yoshihiro captured the weather-shortened APGA Mastercard Tour Championship at Baltusrol Golf Club’s Lower Course for the second consecutive year. Yoshihiro carded a 3-under-par 67 in the opening round before weather forced the event to be shortened to 18 holes. (Learn More)

Junior Golf

Drive, Chip and Putt Regional Qualifying begins in September and runs through October at 10 sites across the country. The winner of each age and gender division will advance to the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals on April 4, 2027 at Augusta National Golf Club. Several New Jersey juniors are among those set to compete in regional qualifying, including competitors advancing to Quaker Ridge Golf Club in Scarsdale, N.Y. on October 11. (Learn More)

The Senior Citizens Activities Network (SCAN) will host its 5th SCAN Golf Classic at Suneagles Golf Club on October 5. The annual outing supports SCAN’s mission of helping older adults in Monmouth and Ocean counties remain active, healthy and connected. (Learn More)
