New Jersey Golf’s “Wednesday Roundup” will run weekly through the 2026 golf season. This weekly news summary will feature local stories and news from throughout the Garden State.   • Mike Graboyes and Dean Greyserman has advanced out of Local Qualifying for the 126th U.S. Open. Final qualifying will be at various sites throughout the country on June 8. (Click for more

  • Boys State Sectional tournaments ran Monday and Tuesday throughout the state. All who advance to the NJSIAA State and Group Championships will tee off on Monday, May 11 (11 a.m. shotgun) at Raritan Valley Golf Club in Bridgewater. (Click for more

  • Jake Todaro of Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School won the Union County Tournament at Echo Lake Country Club. Westfield High School won the team title. (Click for more

  • The We've Got Friends annual golf outing is July 13 at Glen Ridge Country Club. WGF is a New Jersey-based organization that creates safe and inclusive spaces for young people (ages 7-22) with intellectual and developmental disabilities to form meaningful connections with their peers. WGF hosts "hangouts" and special events where young people can make friends, share their unique talents and abilities, strengthen their sense of belonging, and gain self-confidence along the way. First Tee – Jersey Shore’s annual Swing Into Spring Online Auction will feature a diverse selection of golf packages, including foursomes, threesomes, lesson packages, and more, all to benefit local kids and families. 100% of proceeds directly support First Tee participants, helping build confidence, character, and life skills through the game of golf—empowering and Building Game Changers in our community. The auction Closes: Wednesday, May 6 at 7:00 PM.   • The Endorphin Golf Outing & Dinner for Brain Health is set to take place on June 1 at Panther Valley Country Club. All proceeds go to the IES Brain Research Foundation Summer Fellowship Program in Neuroscience. The goal of the program is to attract bright, motivated students to the field of neuroscience, in hopes that they will add to the work of the senior scientists towards treatment and cures for brain diseases and conditions, such as:  Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, autism, ALS, epilepsy, pain, addiction, brain cancer, stroke, MS, etc. (Click for more
