New Jersey Golf’s “Wednesday Roundup” will run weekly through the 2025 golf season. This weekly news summary will feature local stories and news from throughout the Garden State.   • Tee times are out for the 10th U.S. Amateur Four-Ball at Plainfield Country Club and Echo Lake Country Club. Nine Garden State golfers are competing on the national stage. (Click for more

  • Aphrodite Deng won the Mizuho Americas Open at Liberty National Golf Club this week. The unique format of the Mizuho Americas Open saw 120 LPGA Tour professionals play alongside 24 AJGA juniors. (Click for more

  • After qualifying for the U.S. Women's Open last week, Rayee Feng won the NJSIAA Championship at Raritan Valley Golf Course by way of a playoff against Inha Jun. (Click for more)

  • On the boys side, Rory Asselta fired a 8-under par 64 to win the Tournament of Champions at Raritan Valley Golf Course. (Click for more)

  • Katie Lu (Michigan State), Megha Ganne (Stanford) and Angelina Tolentino (Vanderbilt) are headed to the NCAA Championship from May 16-21 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. (Click for more

  • Harold Stoppiello, a long-time Manasquan River Golf Club passed away at age 71. Stoppiello caddied in various NJ Golf Championships and also served as a professional caddie for several LPGA players. (Click for more)

  • Tee it up For Juvenile Arthritis presented by Liam Pasternak is set for August 4 at Essex Fells Country Club. Proceeds will benefit the Arthritis Foundation. (Click for more

  • The Greater Newark Habitat for Humanity is hosting its 3rd Golf Invitational at Maplewood Country Club on June 19, benefitting affordable housing and critical repairs for veterans at risk of homelessness. (Click for more

  • Our Lady of Mercy is hosting its 5th Annual Golf Outing on May 12, with all proceeds supporting OLMA. (Click for more

  • The Heroes Tour is a new golf tour exclusively for veterans, active military, law enforcement, firefighters and EMTS. It is a fun and social golf tour with a bit of competition involved. The membership fee is $75, which includes a USGA GHIN handicap as well as a tee gift for joining. All tournament pricing includes cart, greens fee and range access. The Heroes Tour accepts players of all skill levels and each tournament will have a gross and net division. There will be opportunities to play in team events such as a two-man team scramble or foursome scramble. (Click for more
