New Jersey Golf’s “Wednesday Roundup” will run weekly through the 2025 golf season. This weekly news summary will feature local stories and news from throughout the Garden State.   • Aphrodite Deng won the prestigious 72-hole Junior Invitational at Sage Valley by six strokes. (Click for more

  • U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship co-hosts Plainfield Country Club and Echo Lake Country Club are now recruiting volunteers to help execute the championship, which will run from May 17-21, 2025. Volunteers who complete three shifts will also be invited to play golf (complimentary green fees) at one of the co-host sites later this year. (Click for more

  • Two New Jersey women are headed to the Augusta National Women’s, which will be contested at Champions Retreat (Round 1 & 2) and Augusta National Golf Club (Final Round). 2024 New Jersey Women’s Amateur Champion Katie Li (Duke), Holmdel native Megha Ganne (Stanford) will compete from April 2-5 in the invitational event.   • The First Tee of Raritan Valley is seeking a LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Coordinator for the 2025 season. The individual would lead and manage our Girls Program out of Rutgers University Golf Course in Piscataway, NJ. (Click for more)

  • The TJ Dimarco Golf Outing will take place September 23 at Old Bridge Golf Course – The Rose. Proceeds will will support the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association (HCMA) in advancing research and providing resources to families. (Click for more

  • Entries are now open for multiple USGA Championships – 80th U.S. Women’s Open (Entries close April 2), 45th U.S. Senior Open (Entries close March 26), 125th U.S. Open (Entries close April 9), 4th U.S. Adaptive Open (March 19), 7th U.S. Senior Open (Entries close June 4). (Click for more
