New Jersey Golf’s “Wednesday Roundup” will run weekly through the 2025 golf season. This weekly news summary will feature local stories and news from throughout the Garden State.   • Max Greyserman is set to compete in the Travelers Championship this week at TPC River Highlands in Connecticut. He will tee off at 9:45 a.m. on Thursday. (Click for more)

  • The New Jersey Golf Foundation (NJGF), the charitable arm of the New Jersey Section, PGA of America (NJPGA), today announced Teegan Linke (Jamesburg) and Luke Krombholz (Metuchen) as the 2025 recipients of the prestigious Peter Famiano Memorial Scholarship. (Click for more)

  • Tee Times are set for the second round of the 107th Western Junior Championship held at The Harvester Club in Rhodes, IA. Three New Jersey Golfers, Mihir Roperia, Rory Asselta, and Liam Pasternak are playing in the field. (Click for more

  • The USGA announced on Tuesday that The Ridgewood Country Club, in Paramus, N.J., is set to host three upcoming USGA championships: the 2030 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball, the 2035 U.S. Junior Amateur and the 2042 U.S. Amateur Championships. (Click for more) 

  • The NJ.com postseason awards for high school boys and girls golf have been announced. On the boys side, Rory Asselta was named Golfer of the Year, St. Joseph (Mont.) named Team of the Year and CBA head coach Patrick Reynolds Coach of the Year (Click for more). On the girls side, Rayee Feng was named Golfer of the Year, Holy Angels named Team of the Year, and Princeton's Jess Monzo named Coach of the Year (Click for more). 

  • Edison native Claire Lu placed T-2 at the 23rd Women’s Met Amateur Championship, held at Sunningdale Country Club in Scarsdale, N.Y. from June 16-17. The University of Pennsylvania rising sophomore shot an even-par, 219, over the 54-hole stroke play event. Multiple New Jersey Golfers, including Jenelle Valera of Royce Brook Golf Club, and Reese Hannon and Emily Renoff of Trump National Golf Club-Bedminster, also topped the leaderboard. (Click for more

  • Galloping Hill Golf Course will host the First Stage of the 2025 PGA Tour Q-School from Oct. 14-17. The event serves as a qualification tournament for golfers aiming to gain full or partial membership on the PGA Tour. Registration is now open. (Click for more

  • Vidhi Lakhawala boosted her summer campaign with a win at the 98th Women’s Western Junior Championship at Maketewah Country Club in Cincinatti. With the win, the 17-year-old from Kendall Park, N.J., earned a sponsor exemptions into the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G, and an exemption into the Women’s Western Amateur.   • Samantha Galantini, Megha Ganne and Angelina Tolentino will be representing New Jersey as they play in the 123rd North & South Women’s Amateur Championship from June 22-28 at Pinehurst. (Click for more) 

  • Registration for Fiddlers Elbow Country Club’s Junior Golf Camp is now open. The camp will run for 10 weeks and starts on June 23.   • The Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation and Palisades Medical Center Foundation are hosting a golf outing at the Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, NJ on June 30. Funds from the outing will go in support of the Emergency Department Residency Program at Hackensack Meridian Hackensack University Medical Center and towards the expansion of the Emergency Department at Hackensack Meridian Palisades Medical Center.
