Wednesday Roundup - June 11, 2025

New Jersey Golf’s “Wednesday Roundup” will run weekly through the 2025 golf season. This weekly news summary will feature local stories and news from throughout the Garden State.   • Tee times are now available for the U.S Open at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pa. Three New Jersey golfers – Max Greyserman, Chris Gotterup, and Ryan McCormick, are playing for the coveted title. (Click for more). 

  • Reed Greyserman continued his strong amateur campaign at the 108th Florida Amateur Championship on June 8, firing in a final round 68 to complete a comeback. Greyserman, 20, won the 2024 New Jersey Amateur Championship at Forest Hill Field Club. (Click for more).  

  • Greyserman will also compete in the 110th Southwestern Amateur Championship at The Desert Mountain Club in Arizona from June 11-14. (Click for more

  • Team International won the 2025 Arnold Palmer Cup on June 8 at Congaree Golf Club in South Carolina. Holmdel native and Stanford standout, Megha Ganne represented Team USA. (Click for more).  

  • Galloping Hill Golf Course will host the First Stage of the 2025 PGA Tour Q-School from Oct. 14-17. The event serves as a qualification tournament for golfers aiming to gain full or partial membership on the PGA Tour. Registration is now open. (Click for more).   

  • Teen Cancer America invites you to the Fifth Annual TCA Golf Outing on Monday, September 15, 2025, at TPC Jasna Polana in Princeton, NJ, for a fun-filled day of golf, food, drinks, rock & roll, and fundraising to support young people facing cancer. Highlights include appearances by Golf Channel’s Rich Lerner, sports and music celebrities, and a special Golf Clinic hosted by LPGA star Val Skinner. (Click for more

  • The Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation and Palisades Medical Center Foundation are hosting a golf outing at the Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, NJ on June 30. Funds from the outing will go in support of the Emergency Department Residency Program at Hackensack Meridian Hackensack University Medical Center and towards the expansion of the Emergency Department at Hackensack Meridian Palisades Medical Center.   • The New Jersey Golf Foundation hosted its first-ever special needs golf clinic at RWJBarnabas Health Field of Dreams, in partnership with The Arc, Ocean County Chapter, on May 28. Braving the rain, 12 adults with special needs spent more than an hour learning and playing golf. (Click for more

  • The Member Golf Day originally scheduled at Raritan Valley Country Club on June 23 has been moved to Black Oak Golf Club for the same date. Registration is still open. (Click for more

  • The 2025 Passaic County Amateur Championship registration form and information is available now. The two-day event will be held at the Preakness Valley East & West Courses from June 21 – June 22 and is open to all Passaic County residents and county ID holders. A Handicap Index is required to play. (Click here for more). 

  • Entries are now open for multiple USGA Championships – 125th U.S. Women’s Amateur (Entries close June 11), 70th U.S. Senior Amateur (Entries close June 18), 63rd U.S. Senior Women's Amateur (Entries close July 9), 44th U.S. Mid-Amateur (Entries close July 9), 38th U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur (Entries close August 6), 11th U.S. Women's Four-Ball (Entries close August 13), 11th U.S. Amateur Four-Ball (Entries close August 13) (Click for more)
