New Jersey Golf’s “Wednesday Roundup” will run weekly through the 2025 golf season. This weekly news summary will feature local stories and news from throughout the Garden State.   • U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship co-hosts Plainfield Country Club and Echo Lake Country Club are now recruiting volunteers to help execute the championship, which will run from May 17-21, 2025. Volunteers who complete three shifts will also be invited to play golf (complimentary green fees) at one of the co-host sites later this year. (Click for more)  

  • U.S. Open local qualifying is underway as Clifford Lindholm of Montclair advanced to the final stage. Jack Wall of Brielle earned the first alternate spot. (Click for more

  • New Jersey’s Andy Brock, David Quinn, Tom Timby, Jason Panter, Scott Paris and Mark McCormick advanced to the final stage of qualifying for the U.S. Senior Open. (Click for more

  • Barnes Blake finished in second at the Big East Championship, shooting a 5-under par through three rounds. (Click for more

  • Rory Asselta helped lead St. Joseph (Montvale) to the team title at the Arcola Invitational at Arcola Country Club. He also shot an even par 72 to win the individual title for the third time this season. (Click for more

  • Moorestown senior Brady Crow was the only golfer to shoot even par 72 under sunny skies Monday at Ramblewood Country Club to win the Burlington County Open title. (Click for more

  • Point Pleasant Boro senior Mailon Kent shot a school-record 4-under 68 to win the Shore Conference Tournament at Charleston Springs Golf Course. CBA won the team title. (Click for more

  • Tickets are on sale now for the Mizuhos Americas Open from May 8–11, 2025, at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City. This LPGA Tour event features 120 professionals competing alongside 24 top-ranked junior girls from the AJGA Tour. (Click for more

  • The Heroes Tour is a new golf tour exclusively for veterans, active military, law enforcement, firefighters and EMTS. It is a fun and social golf tour with a bit of competition involved. The membership fee is $75, which includes a USGA GHIN handicap as well as a tee gift for joining. All tournament pricing includes cart, greens fee and range access. The Heroes Tour accepts players of all skill levels and each tournament will have a gross and net division. There will be opportunities to play in team events such as a two-man team scramble or foursome scramble. (Click for more

  • The 2nd Annual Sussex County GOP Golf Outing will be held June 19, 2025 at Crystal Springs. (Click for more

  • The Community Medical Center Foundation is hosting the 2025 Robert H. Ogle Golf Invitational at Metedeconk National Golf Club on July 21, 2025. (Click for more

  • Habitat SCNJ is hosting their annual Home In One Golf Tournament on Monday, May 19, 2025 at The Legacy Club. The outing will raise funds for much-needed affordable housing projects and highlight our most recent expanded service area of Camden County (Click for more

  • The TJ Dimarco Golf Outing will take place September 23 at Old Bridge Golf Course – The Rose. Proceeds will support the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association (HCMA) in advancing research and providing resources to families. (Click for more)  

  • On Monday, April 28, the Farleigh Dickinson Sport Management Program is hosting their 2nd Annual Golf Outing at Galloping Hill Golf Course. All proceeds benefit the Sport Management Program and student learning at FDU. (Click for more
