New Jersey Golf’s “Wednesday Roundup” will run weekly through the 2026 golf season. This weekly news summary will feature local stories and news from throughout the Garden State.   • The U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball gets underway on May 2 at Daniel Island Club. New Jersey comepitors and college teammates Samantha Galantini and Natalie Spiska are in the field. (Click for more) 

  • Katie Lu of Plainsboro, New Jersey won the Coke Dr Pepper Open on the Women’s All Pro Tour, marking her first professional victory. Lu closed the week at 20-under par, highlighted by a bogey-free 6-under-par final round. (Click for more) 

  • Rory Asselta finished top-25 in the prestigious Terra Cotta Invitational at Naples National Golf Club. (Click for more) 

  • A slew of high school boys tournaments were contested throughout the state this week. (Click to view results) 

  • The 2026 Men’s & Women’s Ivy League Championships are set to take place at Baltusrol Golf Club from April 24-26. (Click for more) 

  • Highlighted by an 8-under, 62 card, Dean Greyserman earned his first collegiate win of his Stanford career, sharing co-champion honors as the Cardinal wrapped up the final round of competition at the 79th Western Intercollegiate on April 15. (Click for more) 

  • The We've Got Friends annual golf outing is July 13 at Glen Ridge Country Club. WGF is a New Jersey-based organization that creates safe and inclusive spaces for young people (ages 7-22) with intellectual and developmental disabilities to form meaningful connections with their peers. WGF hosts "hangouts" and special events where young people can make friends, share their unique talents and abilities, strengthen their sense of belonging, and gain self-confidence along the way.   • The Knights of Columbus, Council 6930, will hold their 22nd Annual Charity Golf Event on Friday, May 8, 2026. This year’s Foursome Scramble will be held at High Bridge Hills Golf Club. The day includes 18 holes of golf, a golf cart, breakfast, lunch, and refreshments. 100% of the proceeds support local charities. (Click for more) 

  • Support local youth and bid on incredible golf experiences! First Tee – Jersey Shore’s annual Swing Into Spring Online Auction will feature a diverse selection of golf packages, including foursomes, threesomes, lesson packages, and more, all to benefit local kids and families. 100% of proceeds directly support First Tee participants, helping build confidence, character, and life skills through the game of golf—empowering and Building Game Changers in our community.   • The Western Golf Association/ Evans Scholars Foundation is hiring for a Caddie Program Manager at Weequahic & Francis Byrne Golf Courses. (Learn More) 

  • Holmdel native Megha Ganne will be competing in the Augusta National Women’s Amateur (ANWA) from April 1-4. (Click for more) 

  • The Heroes Tour provides competitive golf opportunities for active military personnel, veterans and first responders (firefighters, law enforcement, paramedics & EMTs). All skill levels are welcome. Tournaments feature a gross and net division. (Click for more) 

  • The Endorphin Golf Outing & Dinner for Brain Health is set to take place on June 1 at Panther Valley Country Club. All proceeds go to the IES Brain Research Foundation Summer Fellowship Program in Neuroscience. The goal of the program is to attract bright, motivated students to the field of neuroscience, in hopes that they will add to the work of the senior scientists towards treatment and cures for brain diseases and conditions, such as:  Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, autism, ALS, epilepsy, pain, addiction, brain cancer, stroke, MS, etc. (Click for more)
