New Jersey Golf’s “Wednesday Roundup” will run weekly through the 2026 golf season. This weekly news summary will feature local stories and news from throughout the Garden State.   • Holmdel native Megha Ganne will be competing in the Augusta National Women’s Amateur (ANWA) from April 1-4. (Click for more) 

  • Two-time New Jersey Amateur Champion Dawson Jones earned a spot in the upcoming Korn Ferry Tour event, the LECOM Suncoast Classic after Monday qualifying. (Click for more) 

  • John Pak finished in second this past week in the Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club on the Korn Ferry Tour. (Click for more) 

  • The high school golf season is officially underway and the boys and girls preview is out. (Click for more) 

  • The Western Golf Association/ Evans Scholars Foundation is hiring for a Caddie Program Manager at Weequahic & Francis Byrne Golf Courses. (Learn More) 

  • The Heroes Tour provides competitive golf opportunities for active military personnel, veterans and first responders (firefighters, law enforcement, paramedics & EMTs). All skill levels are welcome. Tournaments feature a gross and net division. (Click for more) 

  • Support local youth and bid on incredible golf experiences! First Tee – Jersey Shore’s annual Swing Into Spring Online Auction will feature a diverse selection of golf packages, including foursomes, threesomes, lesson packages, and more, all to benefit local kids and families. 100% of proceeds directly support First Tee participants, helping build confidence, character, and life skills through the game of golf—empowering and Building Game Changers in our community. Auction Opens: Friday, May 1 at 8:00 AM Auction Closes: Wednesday, May 6 at 7:00 PM.   • On Monday, May 4, 2026, CiC will host its signature golf outing, “May the ‘Fore’th Be With You!”, at Hamilton Farm Golf Club. Proceeds from the event directly support CiC’s work, including providing young people with a safe, substance-free drop-in center where they can connect, grow, and thrive. Funds also ensure that adolescents and adults in recovery can access programs, events, and workshops that help them reconnect with their community, find hope, employment, and purpose. All CiC programs are offered free of charge, so everyone feels welcome regardless of their ability to pay. (Click for more) 

  • The Endorphin Golf Outing & Dinner for Brain Health is set to take place on June 1 at Panther Valley Country Club. All proceeds go to the IES Brain Research Foundation Summer Fellowship Program in Neuroscience. The goal of the program is to attract bright, motivated students to the field of neuroscience, in hopes that they will add to the work of the senior scientists towards treatment and cures for brain diseases and conditions, such as:  Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, autism, ALS, epilepsy, pain, addiction, brain cancer, stroke, MS, etc. (Click for more) 

  • Birdies & Lattes is hosting a Masters promotion during Masters Week. On April 12, gather your crew for our 4-person scramble tournament — K-Golf sponsored, with a Crystal Springs resort getaway on the line for the winning team. (Click for more) 

  • The First Tee of Raritan Valley is hosting a Masters Watch Party on Saturday, April 11 at Summit Elks Lodge 1246. All proceeds will benefit the organization. (Click for more) 

  • Entries are now open for several USGA Championships: the 81st U.S. Women's Open Presented by Ally, the 126th U.S. Open Championship, 46th U.S. Senior Open Championship, 5th U.S. Adaptive Open Championship, and the 8th U.S. Senior Women's Open Championship. (Click to Apply)
