Two Teams Punch Tickets to 2026 U.S. Four-Ball

SPRING LAKE, N.J. – Two teams qualified for the 11th U.S. Four-Ball Championship after a qualifying round at Spring Lake Golf Club on Wednesday. The duo of Sam Bernstein and Will Bernstein (New York, New York) and the pair of Eric Edwards (Charlotte, North Carolina) and Brock Kovach (Wyomissing, Pennsylvania) each finished at 8-under par, 64 to claim the two qualifying spots. The championship will be held at Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., from May 16-20, 2026.
The Bernstein team, consisting of brothers Sam and Will carded a blemish-free round on the 6,552-yard course highlight by an eagle on the par-5 ninth hole. Former George Mason teammates, Edwards and Kovach, also fired a bogey-free 8-under par, 64, with eight birdies on the afternoon. Edwards and Kovach caught fire following the turn, making three consecutive birdies on holes 10, 11 and 12.
In the first alternate spot was Max Muller (Oreland, Pennsylvania) and Christopher Reedman (Newton, Pennsylvania) while second alternate was Andy Butler (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) and John Barone (Dunmore, Pennsylvania) at 6-under par, 66, followimng a playoff.
