Support the Caddie Scholarship Foundation on Donor Advised Fund Day

KENILWORTH, N.J. –– Thursday, Oct. 8 marks the third annual Donor Advised Fund Day, an opportunity for donor-advised fund holders across the country to direct their charitable giving toward the organizations and causes that mean the most to them. 

This year, the Caddie Scholarship Foundation is asking supporters to consider including the CSF among the charitable organizations they support through their donor-advised fund. 

A donor-advised fund, or DAF, is a charitable giving account that allows individuals and families to contribute assets to charity and recommend grants to eligible nonprofit organizations. Donors can use their DAFs to support the causes and organizations they care about over time. It’s one of the most powerful tools for intentional giving that functions like a 401k for your philanthropy. 

For those who already have a donor-advised fund, Oct. 8 is an opportunity to recommend a grant to the Caddie Scholarship Foundation and help support its mission in providing financial support to member club caddies pursuing higher education. Your support of the Caddie Scholarship Foundation has a direct, lasting, positive, and transformative impact upon the lives of its scholarship recipients and “keeps the caddie in golf.”
