Statewide Swings; Commemorating 125 Years of NJ Golf
KENILWORTH, N.J. - As part of the ongoing celebration of New Jersey Golf’s 125th anniversary, golfers across the Garden State came together on Sunday, June 1, for a first-of-its-kind Par 3 Contest. Marking the official anniversary of the founding clubs that formed the association in 1900, this unique statewide event invited participating clubs and courses to set up a symbolic 125-yard hole, offering a fun and memorable way for players to engage with the game and honor more than a century of golf in New Jersey. With enthusiastic participation from both public and private clubs, the event showcased the unifying spirit of the game and offered players a chance to win a $100 gift card to their golf professional shop, share laughs, and be part of history.
