Qualifying: 93rd New Jersey Four-Ball Championship

KENILWORTH, N.J. - The New Jersey Golf tournament season is officially underway, with qualifying rounds for the 93rd Four-Ball Championship now in progress. This year’s championship proper will take place from May 12–14 at the historic North Jersey Country Club, a premier venue known for its challenging layout and rich tradition. Located in Wayne, the club recently underwent an impressive renovation that has further elevated its reputation. Originally designed by the legendary Walter Travis in 1923, the course now boasts restored greens, updated bunkering, and enhanced course conditioning that promises a true test of skill for the state's top amateur teams.
Four qualifying rounds for the 93rd New Jersey Four-Ball Championship will take place throughout April and May.
Tuesday, April 15, Eagle Oaks G & CC
In the first qualifier for the 93rd Four-Ball Championship, 15 teams advanced after an 18 hole qualifying round at Eagle Oaks Golf & Country Club. Long-time Four-Ball partners Anthony Campanile and Brian Hart, of Deal Golf & Country Club earned medalist honors, firing a 5-under par 66 to set the pace. On a gusty spring day, those advancing shot an even par or better.
Monday, April 21, Little Mill CC
Following the second qualifier for the 93rd Four-Ball Championship, eight teams advanced after an 18 hole qualifying round at Little Mill Country Club. Tied atop the leaderboard with a score of 3-under par 68 were the duos of Jayan Fazal-Karim and Jonathan Chang from Bayonne Golf Club and Kevin Maguire and Gregory Markus of Laurel Creek Country Club. Teams finishing at 1-under par 70 or better will move on to the championship at North Jersey Country Club.
