Qualifying: 92nd Men’s Public Links Championship

KENILWORTH, N.J. –– The 92nd Men’s Public Links Championship will be held at Seaview Golf Resort on August 19. The 36-hole stroke play championship will feature a field of players who earned their spots through exemptions or one of the three qualifying rounds. A fitting venue for one of the Garden State’s premier championships, the Bay Course opened in 1914 and was designed by Hugh Wilson and Donald Ross. Known for it’s classic links-style layout, strategic bunkering and coastal winds, Seaview has hosted the 1942 PGA Championship and continues to welcome the world’s best players each year as the home of the Shoprite LPGA Classic.  

Qualifying for the 92nd Men’s Public Links Championship will take place across three sites throughout July and August.  

Wednesday, July 29, Vineyard National Golf Club 
In the first qualifier for the 92nd Men’s Public Links Championship, 10 individuals advanced following an 18-hole qualifying round at Vineyard National Golf Club in Egg Harbor City. Max Alverio of the NJ Golf E-Club earned medalist honors with a 5-under par 67, while players that turned in a score of 1-over par 73 or better advanced.
