New Practice Facility at Deal G&CC Ready for Final U.S Senior Open Qualifier

KENILWORTH, N.J. –– Final qualifying for the U.S. Senior Open Championship, set for June 26–29 at The Broadmoor (East Course) in Colorado Springs, Colo., will conclude in the second week of June, including a qualifier at Deal Golf and Country Club on June 10.

Deal unveiled a new state-of-the-art practice range along with an adjacent putting and chipping green as it begins its 127th year as a club.

Under the direction of Guaranteed Landscaping Inc. and Bryce Swanson of Rees Jones Design Inc., the new range was lowered, reshaped and redesigned with new target greens and 50% more teeing space. In addition, the new range features Trackman capabilities, which has multiple screens for practice and analysis that can be accessed through an app for members.

The club also built an additional 5,000 square foot putting and chipping green between the first area and the range, pairing together well with their existing iconic putting green in front of the club house.
