New Jersey Golf Represents at the 36th Senior Challenge Matches
RINGOES, N.J. – Eight golfers represented New Jersey Golf at the 36th Senior Challenge matches at The Ridge at Back Brook on Wednesday.
The team, consisting of Nick Desai of Baltusrol Golf Club, Mike Paduano of Eagle Oaks Golf & Country Club, Michael Guli of Trump National Golf Club – Bedminster, Derrick Scenna of Deal Golf & Country Club, Harris Podvey of Knoll West, Gregg Angelillo of Baltusrol Golf Club, Jamie Slonis of Tavistock Country Club and Pat Pierson of Darlington Golf Course competed against eight of the best senior golfers from the Golf Association of Philadelphia and Maryland State Golf Association.
Each Association’s team score took the best six of eight competitors representing each association. The New Jersey contingent finished tied for second with the Maryland State Golf Association, and was led by 2025 New Jersey Senior Player of the Year, Nick Desai, with a three-over par 75 on a blustery but beautiful day.
