New Jersey Golf Celebrates 125th Anniversary with Par 3 Contest

KENILWORTH, N.J. - As we celebrate the 125th anniversary of New Jersey Golf, we’re excited to share a unique opportunity to be part of this historic milestone. On Sunday, June 1 — the anniversary of the founding clubs coming together to establish the association — we’ll be hosting a special Par 3 Contest, and we are eager for all golfers across the state to be apart of it. This statewide event is designed to bring together New Jersey clubs and golfers in a fun and engaging way to honor the rich legacy of golf in New Jersey

Each participating course will set up a 125-yard Par 3 hole—symbolic of our 125 years—and host the contest for members, guests or the public. Winners, both men and women, of the closest to the pin contest at each club will receive a $100 gift card to the pro shop at their course.

Club professionals and staff are encouraged to register their clubs, both public and private, through the email they received from NJ Golf. For golfers interested in participating in the par 3 contest, we encourage you to reach out to the club professional or staff members at your facility.
