Qualifying: 91st Men's Public Links Championship
KENILWORTH, N.J. –– The 91st Men’s Public Links Championship will be held at Galloping Hill Golf Course on August 20. Qualifying is underway, with the first of three qualifiers having concluded on July 28.
Monday, July 28, Bowling Green Golf Club
In the first qualifier for the 91st Public Links Championship, 10 individuals advanced following an 18-hole qualifying round at Bowling Green Golf Club in Oak Ridge, NJ. Robert McHugh of Rock Spring Golf Club and Tyler Drewitz earned medalist honors with a 1-under par 71, while players that turned in a score of 3-over par 75 or better advanced.
Thursday, August 7, Heron Glen Golf Course
Paul Giovannoli of the NJ Golf E-Club bested the field by two strokes, firing a 5-under par 67 to earn medalist honors at the second qualifying round for the 91st Men’s Public Links Championship. 17 individuals with a score of 2-over par 74 or better advanced at Heron Glen Golf Course, which played 6,358 yards on Thursday.
Monday, August 11, Knob Hill Golf Club
Ryan Shaw of Charleston Springs Golf Course topped the leaderboard, carding a 2-under par 68 to earn medalist honors in the final qualifying round for the 91st Men’s Public Links Championship. Ten individuals with a score of 5-over par 75 or better at Knob Hill Golf Club will advance to the championship on August 20.
