Caddie Scholarship Foundation Hosts Inaugural Leadership Summit

KENILWORTH, N.J. - New Jersey Golf’s Caddie Scholarship Foundation hosted its Inaugural Leadership Summit on Tuesday, July 15 at Galloping Hill Golf Course in Kenilworth, New Jersey. With nearly 60 Caddie Scholars in attendance, the afternoon was highlighted by multiple presentations and supplied students with many networking opportunities.
Spearheaded by Jeff Knapp, Caddie Scholarship Foundation Director of Development, the Leadership Summit provided Caddie Scholars with a tangible “value add” to their scholarship. In the 2025-26 academic year, the New Jersey Golf Caddie Scholarship Foundation provided over $1 million in scholarships to 194 Caddie Scholars.
Throughout the afternoon, multiple presenters provided the Caddie Scholars with valuable information and resources that can help them navigate the job market and leverage technology to secure an internship or a job.
Jackie Dubrovich, a former Caddie Scholar, shared her experience from the fairways and greens of North Jersey Country Club to the fencing strip at Columbia University, and eventually onto the Olympic stage in the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she won gold in the Women’s Foil Individual Fencing division. Dubrovich talked to a room full of Caddie Scholars about her transition into the corporate world as a Retail Media Client Partner Lead for Criteo and the making of her fencing academy, Polaris Fencing Center.
The summit also featured a presentation on the ‘Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Today’s Job Market’ from John Corcoran, Managing Director of Corcoran Career Coaching. Justin Schwartz, New Jersey Golf’s USGA Boatwright Intern in Membership Services and Caddie Scholar Foundation, led a presentation on ‘How to Create a Professional LinkedIn Profile and Why it Matters When Applying for Internships and Jobs’.
Throughout the afternoon, scholars connected, networked, and shared stories with fellow Caddie Scholars from throughout the state. Following lunch, participants enjoyed an afternoon of camaraderie with a round of golf at Galloping Hill Golf Course.
The Caddie Scholarship Foundation extends its sincere appreciation and gratitude to John Corcoran, Justin Schwartz, and Jackie Dubrovich for sharing their knowledge and experience with the Caddie Scholars.
