Beacon Hill Duo Victorious at 7th Ultimate Team Event

MONROE TOWNSHIP, N.J. - The duo of Andrew Delvecchio and Kevin Griffin of Beacon Hill Country Club took home first place at the 7th Ultimate Team Event on Thursday, July 7.
The team shot 65 Stableford points, carding a 4-under par 70 in Four-Ball followed by a 30 in the Pinehurst back-9.
“Put a couple ones close in Pinehurst and Kevin rolled them in” said Delvecchio.
The partners put together a very impressive Pinehurst round, with 4 birdies and an eagle in only 9 holes they were able to secure the win.

“Your partner picks you up, puts a little extra pressure on you to make a shot because you don't want to let them down.” Griffin reflected, “I think our games compliment each other well and it worked out.”
The two certainly did not let each other down, earning the reward of a free day at Metedeconk National where they will play with second place finishers Greg Scalley and Robert Marziotto.
Another highlight of the day came from a hole in one by Kevin Hearon on No. 3 of Four-Ball action.
The Beacon Hill duo won a day of golf at Metedeconk National Golf Club.
